Ossian International Logo

Headquartered in Scotland and producing internationally, Ossian offers a different perspective on the future of UK and international cinema – having produced the debut features of a wave of some of the next generation’s most exciting and urgent new filmmaking voices, including: Rafael Manuel’s FILIPINANA and Olive Nwosu’s LADY for Film4, which both premiered in the World Cinema Dramatic section at the Sundance Film Festival in 2026 where they won the Special Jury Award for Creative Vision and Acting Ensemble before playing in the Perspectives and Panorama sections respectively at Berlinale 2026, as well as Seán Robert Dunn’s THE FALL OF SIR DOUGLAS WEATHERFORD for BBC Film and Mubi, which premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2026, and Rhys Marc Jones' BLACK CHURCH BAY, which was developed with BBC Film and Cannes Film Festival's La Cinef residence and is now in post-production.

Having been financed in the UK by a first-look deal with the BBC, Ossian is now expanding into television and is establishing a presence in North America, having recently produced its first US studio picture, Big Beach’s BORGES & ME starring Luis Gnecco, Fionn Whitehead, Alan Cumming and Harriet Sansom Harris from Oscar-nominated writer Oren Moverman and director Marc Turtletaub.
